My name is Melissa Thomas, and I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM-CPT), a CrossFit™ Trainer Level 1 (CF-L1) and a Licensed Massage Therapist and Asian Bodyworker (LMT-AB). I am passionate about helping people create lasting changes to their wellness. My approach focuses on functional fitness methods and I work with a multitude of clients whose activity levels vary from a sedentary lifestyle to elite level athletes. My massage therapy practice is largely integrated between Eastern and Western tools, blending the use of relaxation, deep tissue, acupressure, fire cupping, and sports massage techniques to deliver relief to imbalanced tissues and joints. I was trained in 2014-2016 at East-West Healing Arts Institute in Madison, Wisconsin under the instruction of some of the area's finest therapists. My personal practice offers integration of Eastern-Western methods that provide clients with a balanced approach that offers benefits to their overall system. My comprehensive approach utilizes massage therapy services as well as functional strength training, stretching, and joint mobilization that allows my clients to experience long-lasting relief from chronic pain. My practice is rooted in educating my clients in order to better understand their bodies in hope of making changes that will impact their overall health and wellness. For years, I suffered from a range of health issues including inflammation and obesity. I was a busy mother of small children and a business owner that neglected my own health. With the help of a personal trainer and a deep tissue massage therapist, I applied myself to holistic methods of wellness and was able to lose over 50 pounds! I reshaped my body, mind, and spirit. After reclaiming my health, I now lead a life of vibrance and vitality, and am honored to help others along their path. Please share your story with Melissa and ask how she might be able to help you achieve personal success! May God bless and keep you on your journey.
