Chad Yonkus   

WI LMT-AB, HLC-1, CNT, CF-L1, CEC

With nearly 15 years of experience in the field, I am a Holistic Lifestyle Coach 1 (HLC-1), Certified Natural Trainer (CNT), CrossFit™ Trainer Level 1 (CF-L1), CHEK™Exercise Coach (CEC), and Licensed Massage Therapist & Asian Bodyworker (WI LMT-AB). I graduated from East-West Healing Arts Institute in 2010 and served for several years after graduation as an Eastern massage therapy instructor passing my knowledge and experience on to new massage therapy students. Through a quest to optimize my body, mind and spirit to the ultimate capacity, I have developed a unique wellness philosophy.

 

In my free time, I have participated recreationally in various sports including football, baseball, volleyball, disc golf, Ultimate Frisbee, mountain biking and rock climbing. I also competed in the cycling and rugby circuits, and have trained many athletes of varying skill and competitive levels. Through many years of doing bodywork and personal training, my philosophy is to teach clients fundamental movements in concert with balancing the body through bodywork for optimal results.

Melissa Thomas   

WI LMT-AB, CPT, CF-L1

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist & Asian Bodyworker (WI-LMT-AB), Certified Personal Trainer, and Crossfit Level-1 Trainer with a passion for helping people. My approach focuses on an integrating Eastern & Western modalities of massage therapy with functional fitness methods in order to provide more comprehensive care to my clients. I work with a multitude of people from all age groups whose activity levels vary from a sedentary lifestyle to elite athletes including Crossfit enthusiasts, runners, cyclists, triathletes, and other endurance athletes. I help people reduce their risk of injury by keeping their tissues mobile and balanced, but I also help those who are recovering from surgeries or other injury. 

 

For years, I suffered from a range of health issues including inflammation, imbalance, and obesity. I was a full-time homemaker and business owner that neglected my own health. With the help of a personal trainer, I applied myself to a fitness program that utilized holistic wellness...body, mind, and spirit. I was able to lose 50 pounds, and in the process found an inner strength that I had not known was there before. My chronic pain and inflammation was resolved, my energy and mood greatly improved, and I now lead a life of vibrance and vitality. It is truly a privilege to help others with the simple self-care tools that I have learned.
