The phytonutrients of our high quality hemp are extracted through the spagyric process. This unique method is known in the industry as "beyond full-spectrum" as it is the only way to accurately capture all 565 beneficial compounds of the cannabis plant and maintain them in their stable form while decarboxylating the cannabinoids present without the necessity of heat, thereby preserving the integrity of the other temperature-sensitive compounds present.
The Spagyric process utilizes ethanol as the solvent as it is the only way to "wash" the polar and non-polar compounds (also know as "water-soluble" and "lipid-soluble"), whereas CO2 extracts only capture lipid-soluble compounds. By burning the plant matter after it has been soaked in the organic cane ethanol, the ash becomes water-soluble and a broad range of hemp-derived minerals are deposited in a water bath which is then boiled off, leaving these minerals for harvesting. These minerals are added back into the extract after the ethanol has been purged, creating water-soluble esters which contribute to the bioavailabilty of the final product. This allows our product to take advantage of something called the "Entourage Effect" which describes the synergistic interaction of all the phytonutrients in the plant, maximizing the bioavailability of the medicinal benefits of hemp! Additionally, we utilize an ultrasonic processor to restructure our oil into an extremely fine particle size which further increases the bioavailability, resulting in what is called a "Nano-Emulsification".
